The WIN 2012 Phase 2 that we attended for the first time as Eaton has been beneficial in terms of both meeting our customers’ and partners’ expectations and promoting our latest products and solutions in automation and power management to a large group of users. The WIN Fair has contributed to our objective of increasing brand recognition in the Turkish market and proving that our target of further growth is a permanent one. - ENTES ELECTRONIC DEVICES MANUFACTURING AND TRADE INC.
As ENTES Electronics, we have attended the WIN Fair for the past two years after a long break. We believe that we moved into a better hall this year compared to last year, that’s why there is a 25% increase in the number of registered visitors coming to our booth. We also had visitors whom we have not kept record of. We had one-on-one talks with 70% of the registered visitors and they have been given information about new products and software. It was a successful fair in general.

I would like to thank everyone for their efforts. I also would like to thank you as the organization of installing and dismantling booths gets better and better every year.

It is Turkey’s most active fair of the sector. In the trade shows that we have attended so far both in Turkey and abroad, there has never been such a traffic of people and business volume that required us to be present in the booth at all times, whereas in this year’s WIN Fair, we have not been able to leave the booth even for a moment at all. Leading fairs such as the WIN Fairs have an important place in the growth of the industry and trade as everybody is in search for technology and novelty. The fair satisfied both exhibitors and visitors.

- PARKER MOVEMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS TRADE INC.
This year’s WIN Fair was satisfactory for us in terms of the number and the profile of visitors. Although we had rightful concerns prior to the fair for being in a different hall compared to previous years, we noticed from the very first day the increase in the number of visitors. As Parker Turkey, we are pleased to have found the right platform for offering our wide range of products and system solutions to Turkish industrialists and to answer their questions. We have not had any negative issues apart from support services and the fact that the end-of fair report has not yet been published. Thank you very much for all your help.

The fair made a strong start from the very first day. The number of visitors was high even on the very first day. Germany, being one of the most important trade partners of Turkey, attended the fair with 39 companies, the highest number of attendance achieved to date. The most important names of the German automation industry attended the fair and they attach special importance to the Turkish market. Given its strategic location, Turkey is Europe’s gateway to the Middle East and Asia. The German exhibitors are extremely satisfied with the business contacts established as well as potential distributorship agreements.

WIN fairs has always been an important meeting point for production sector. Therefore as Bosch Rexroth, we have taken our place in the 2nd phase of WIN in order to display our power in automation and introduce our new technologies. Expansion of area in such a fair where the whole sector congregates is a considerably important investment for active participation of more companies and increase in the number of visitors. As Bosch Rexroth, we have given our support to this investment with a brand new stand design and the technologies we have brought this year.

- ETMD (ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION ENGINEERS)
As Association of Electrical Installation Engineers (ETMD), we are giving support to Electrotech section of WIN Fair. The fair, which started as one phase in the first years it was organized, was considered necessary to be divided into two phases considering the successful level it has achieved thanks to interest shown. Electrotech section, in the second phase of WIN Fair, has expanded a lot with deep interest of companies and technological innovations in our sector are shared with persons and institutions active in this field. We are proud that we made contribution to WIN Fair by our effort for companies to partake in the fair, events such as panels, seminars and conferences we have organized and enabling engineers outside Istanbul to visit the fair as well as our cooperation with Hannover Messe at this level reached. We will be very glad to increase our contribution to WIN Fair by continuing this cooperation in the future and increase this level reached successfully to even more advanced levels. We believe that works to give way to large participation of international producers and fair visitors to WIN Fairs in the forthcoming years will be made by Hannover Messe. As ETMD, we can say that we will give support to these works. We thank Hannover Messe Bileşim Inc. companies which organize WIN Fair which we are sure that provides important benefits to development of our sector and we think that will provide even more.

- KEMA & ZKU
This year Istanbul exhibition was a great event, very well organized and re-confirmed Turkey as a real hub of Euro-Asia in energy sector. Regional electricity Utilities in T&D sectors, as well as big final Clients, are paying increased attention to the quality of electric equippment used in their grids. Then KEMA Certificate plays a role, to gurantee the top quality products. Event was very successful for us. First time we shared KEMA booth with ZKU HP Lab-Czech Republic, acquired by KEMA two years ago. We used the booth as extended office to welcome and meet new&old Clients, discuss their needs and propose the KEMA & ZKU solutions.

- FVA-SoftwareService
The FVA-SoftwareService, part of the FVA Research Association for Drive Technology located in Frankfurt / Main, was represented at WIN Part II World of Industry for the first time. In this context I can already report on interesting talks on top level at the FVA-SoftwareService booth within the German Pavilion in the new hall no. 10. I would like to thank for the excellent organisation and service.
Norbert Haefke
- VDMA Power Transmission Engineering and Fluid Power Associations
For the VDMA Associations of Power Transmission Engineering and Fluid Power, WIN Part II World of Industry is the most important trade fair in the MDA-field of the Eurasian region for creating good business and long-lasting relationships. Representing also the European Associations for both branches, EUROTRANS and CETOP, we can report on interesting talks on high level at our booth within the German Pavilion in the new hall no. 10. The increase of stall capacity in the last year has led to a more clear structure of WIN Part II. Solely the companies from power transmission should concentrate on WIN Part II, especially because of the change of the Materials Handling Sector to WIN Part II, one of our main customer groups. Besides the exhibitor’s community would send a clear message to better integrate the WIN into the worldwide MDA trade fair policy analogue to the MDA India, MDA Russia, MDA South America and to the mother trade fair MDA at Hannover/Germany. Nevertheless we’re very pleased to come back next year.
Ann-Catrin Rehermann
